This Privacy Policy explains how Great Lakes Robotics LLC ("Great Lakes Robotics," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses and protects information in connection with https://glrs.us (the "Website").

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Website and through correspondence that starts from the Website. It does not govern information handled under a separate quotation, purchase order, contract or other written agreement.

Information you provide through the contact form

When you submit the contact form, we receive:

  • your name;
  • your company, if provided;
  • your email address;
  • the inquiry type you select;
  • your project details;
  • your preferred timing, if provided; and
  • any other information you voluntarily include in your message.

If you email info@glrs.us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. The Website does not accept file uploads, does not offer customer accounts and does not collect payment information. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, export-controlled data or other highly sensitive information through a general inquiry.

Technical information

Like most websites, the Website's hosting environment may record standard server-log information, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time of the request, to operate and secure the Website. To limit abuse, the contact form applies a submission rate limit based on a one-way hash of the sender's IP address; the IP address itself is not stored for this purpose.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to inquiries;
  • prepare quotations;
  • discuss projects;
  • provide requested services or product information;
  • maintain business correspondence; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Technical information is used only to operate and secure the Website and to prevent misuse of the contact form. We do not use inquiry information for marketing automation or newsletters.

4. Browser storage, cookies and analytics

The Website stores your language setting in your browser's local storage so that the language you select stays in effect across pages and later visits. 5. Hosting and email providers

The Website and the info@glrs.us mailbox are hosted by DreamHost, which provides website hosting and email services to Great Lakes Robotics. Contact-form submissions are delivered by email to info@glrs.us through that hosting environment. DreamHost processes this information on our behalf under its own terms and privacy practices.

6. Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. We share inquiry information only with the hosting and email provider described above, or where required by law or needed to protect our legal rights.

7. Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the business purpose for which it was collected, including project correspondence, quotation records and applicable legal or administrative requirements.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures intended to protect information. No website, email system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential or sensitive information through a general inquiry unless we have agreed a suitable method with you.

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information you have provided to us, subject to applicable law, by emailing info@glrs.us. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
